Polesden Lacey Shakespeare Open-air performances of As You Like It 14th-22 July at Polesden Lacey, Nr Dorking, Surrey Saturday 14 July - Sunday 15 July Play starts at 3:00pm (gates open at 1:30pm) Saturday 21 July - Sunday 22 July Play starts at 3:00pm (gates open at 1:30am) Before each performance there is pre-show entertainment from 2pm - 3pm Shakespeare’s brilliant and funny tale where usurped Dukes, exiled brothers, banished daughters and love-struck runaways all collide in the beautiful Forest of Arden. The play features one of Shakespeare''s most famous and oft-quoted speeches, "All the world''s a stage", and is the origin of the phrase "too much of a good thing".
