Dorking is well serviced by the major High Street banks and building societies. There are cash machines situated throughout the town offering cash withdrawal services for most cards in general circulation. The banks also offer currency exchange services, as does the main postoffice and the travel agent situated in High Street.
Visa, Mastercard and most debit cards are widely accepted throughout the town. Some retailers may refuse to accept card payments for purchases under £5.00. Please check with the individual retailer for there terms and conditions.
American Express, Diners Club and JCB cards are less widely accepted; it is recommended that you check with the retailer whether these cards are accepted prior to purchase.
