Blue Badge Guides
The Blue Badge guides are Tourist Board Registered Guides. The Blue Badge is the British national standard guiding qualification.
Blue Badge Guides are selected, trained and examined by the official British tourist boards to an exacting standard. This means that every guide will have the same background of national core knowledge combined with in-depth local knowledge.
The Blue Badge has been so successful that English trainers have trained guides all over the world, and the Blue Badge is recognised internationally as a benchmark of excellence.
All Blue Badge Guides are assessed on the national knowledge, their depth of local knowledge and their presentation skills and their presentation materials. When you book a Blue Badge Guide you know you are getting the best guide possible.
Within the Dorking and Surrey Hill Area we are fortunate enough to have two Blue Badge Guides.
