Dorking has two local newspapers that each week publish pull-out supplements giving comprehensive listings on most events being held locally:

Dorking Advertiser, published every Thursday
Surrey Advertiser, published every Friday

There are two local radio stations that often broadcast events taking place in the area:

Heart FM
a music based station, based in Bramely London, although covering out to the Dorking area.

BBC Southern Counties Radio
a speech based station, based in Guildford covering much of Southern England.

Dorking Halls
provide an impressive multi-purpose facility, staging one-night variety shows, classical concerts, films, fairs and exhibitions. The venue offers three halls including the 800 seat Grand Hall and the 250 seat Martineau Hall, which doubles as a cinema offering daily presentations.
